II Corinthians 1:3-4

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.” (ESV)

God is a God of all comfort because He alone provides real hope to our sin problems. When we understand that we have a sin problem, then we can ask for Him to give us the “sin solution.” We confess our sins and ask for Him to forgive us based up the substitutionary sacrifice of Jesus Christ upon the Cross.

At TIL, we deal with sin problems because Christ died for our sins – not for mankind’s ideas of “disease” as a sickness to be coped with forever.

Apart from Christ, there is no hope and no real power to overcome any sinful heart issue. In Christ, hope abounds as does “real comfort” provided to us by God Himself, the God of all Comfort.
