I posed the question: “Is God ever thankful?” in an earlier post. Now, I’m posing the question “Is God ever disappointed?”
Certainly, God is not sad as humans are sad.
If God knows everything that ever was, is, and ever will be, then how could He ever be disappointed?
My answer would be that there is no way that God would ever be disappointed though I know He is grieved over man’s sin. Look at Genesis 6:6-8: “And the Lord was sorry that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him to his heart. So the Lord said, “I will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the land, man and animals and creeping things and birds of the heavens, for I am sorry that I have made them.” But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord. – The Holy Bible : English standard version. 2001 (electronic ed.) . I want to find favor in God’s eyes, too.
